Founder

Dr. Mischelle Houser Profit

Mischelle Houser-Profit is the epitome of a virtuous woman, walking strong in a league of her own! She has an earnest desire to assist and help better the lives of women within Winston-Salem and the greater Triad Area. In 2004, Mischelle Houser-Profit became the founder and president of Women of Wisdom or better known as W.O.W.!

Co-Founder

Bishop Dr. Jon Houser

Dr. Jon Houser is a native of North Carolina. He accepted Christ around the tender age of seventeen. He is the youngest and only son of four children to Dr’s. Joe and Mischelle Houser. He is humble, meek and a gifted servant of God whose ultimate desire is to do the Will of God. Dr. Jon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University. He pursued his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Biblical Studies and Counseling at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Furthermore, he went on to obtain his Chaplaincy at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, where his faith touches others.

Dr. Amica Yon

Covenant partner to the dynamic Pastor Raphael L. Yon, Elect Lady Dr. Amica Yon stands with her husband at a church at the park located in Raleigh, NC. As the elect lady of Church at the Park, Amica serves as a leader of the Praise & Worship team, the youth ministry, the leader of the dance ministry and she is the executive director for Church at the Park’s leadership team.

Administrative Assistant/Event Coordinator

Chanel Foxworth

A native of Winston Salem, North Carolina, Chanel fell in love with helping women during her childhood. Inspired by her mother’s role as a Parent Aid Supervisor at a local nonprofit, Chanel developed a deep passion for encouraging women to grow and accomplish their purpose in life.

Community Liaison/Donations Coordinator

Crystal Wilkerson

A native of Detroit, Michigan, Crystal fell in love with helping the community. Inspired by the loving and supportive upbringing from her grandparents, Crystal developed a heart and passion for helping others.

Chief Financial Officer

Joushnett Brice

Jazzy is a Veteran of the US Armed Forces. Her experience and passion for helping others succeed led her to contribute to the vision of Women of Wisdom.

Nutritional Coordinator

Kizzy Cooper

Currently residing in Walnut Cove, NC, Kizzy is an aspiring nurse. Her experience with helping others regain their optimal health and passion for encouraging others to excel, led her to contribute to the vision of Women of Wisdom and The House of Refuge.
